Pretend that everythings alright because
when everyone thinks your fine sometimes
you forget for awhile your not.
Let your pain flow through.

This life was only meant for finding out the truth
What do you do when smiles go away?
When everything changes within one day?
What do you do when love falls through?

The worst feeling isnt being lonely but
forgotten by someone you cant forget
to look back and see how things used to be
knowing it will never be the same.

They say what doesnt kill you only makes
you stronger well some of us are just
too sick and tired of being strong

When you drop a glass or a plate on
the ground it makes a loud crashing
sound but as for your heart
when that breaks its completely silent

Its silent and you almost wish
there was a noise to distract
you from the pain

Sometimes pain becomes such a huge
part of your life that you expect it
to always be there but you
cant remember a time when it wasnt

But then one day you feel something else
something that feels wrong because its
unfamiliar

Sometimes it hits you out of no where
all of a sudden this overwhelming
sadness rushes over you and
You get upset and you feel hopeless
and really hurt once again
You become numb to this world

Lets try this again and how about
we tell the truth this time
explain why you did it
dont say it didnt mean anything
because its exactly what you wanted

Your world falls out of place
You refuse to look in the mirror
to see the hurt in your eyes
to see that last tear drop fall
You refuse to watch the failure
as you give up on it all

You have always known that chances
are something that you should always
take but what happens when
there is no happy ending?
and the chance you took
turns into a mistake?

Smile so the tears wont fall
Laugh like you dont hurt at all
Fake it so that person will
never know that you
still havent let them go
